How It Works

Most chronic diseases like type II diabetes, cancer, cardiovascular disease, and obesity are caused by three lifestyle behaviors: a poor diet, lack of physical activity, and tobacco/alcohol use.  These poor behaviors cause health risks like high blood sugar, blood pressure, and blood cholesterol.  Once you have health risks, chronic diseases are not far behind.  But this doesn't have to be. When you eat better and exercise your risks decrease and your health recovers.

SimpleStepsToday is a behavior change program that will gently introduce you to a fun, healthy way to live.  You'll participate in a series of behavior change tasks for 13 weeks. With SimpleStepsToday you'll learn how to adopt and maintain healthy behaviors which will help you prevent, decrease progress of, and even reverse many chronic diseases.  CLICK HERE to learn more about the programs.
